It works but definitely takes more steps. The closest that I can think of is to copy the file's location file path, and paste that into the address bar of the 'open/import' pop up dialogue box. I cannot seem to find a way to achieve this on Windows 10. This is a huge timesaver when the files could be many levels deep in folder hierarchy. The dialogue box to navigate directly to the location of the file that I dragged onto the dialogue box. Window which is likely showing the file that I want to open (because I might be working out of that project folder) and I would click/drag the relevant file into the 'open/import' dialogue box that is asking me to navigate to the file. On Mac I would normally quickly switch to an already open Finder/explore Drag a new Window Controller from the Library and drop it on the Design Surface: In the Identity Inspector, enter PreferencesWindow for the Storyboard ID: Design your interface: Open the App Menu (MacWindows), select Preferences., Control-Click and drag to the new window: Select Show from the popup menu. On Mac OS when within an application, should I try to 'open/import' something, a finder/explorer window will pop up (as on W10) asking me to navigate to the file that I want to open. Coming from MacOS I would like to know if the below is possible within Windows 10.
